“What concepts of society and education do you think are silly and unimportant? In your school or education, what have you had to do that you find to be worthless? What do you think would be a better way to handle the situation? (What alternatives could you provide to make things better for yourself and your classmates?) How do you let “the system” know about your disappointment?”
There is a multitude of things I find wrong with society. That fact that we are all hopelessly lost it seems in our own little fantasy worlds. People lining up by the thousands to get a new iPhone, rampaging through stores on black friday or whenever like beasts, buying chinese slave goods with money they don't have. How people act as if football is some kind of national holiday. If only everyone where as passionate about things that actually matter as they are about some big sweaty guys chasing after a ball. The mindless mainstream media watching zombies.
Society isn't the only thing that suffers greatly from ignorance. Our young peoples education is also in shambles. A single missile costs around 1.4 million dollars. Taxpayer dollars. All that money put into one device which was only designed to explode. Thats like exploding 1.4 million dollars worth of things we actually need! Its a waste. Same goes for all other military expenditures. All the money that gets dumped into fleets of warships, planes, tanks, guns, ammunition, all of it just going to explode at some point. I don't find anything in schools worthless except for standardized testing. Which some countries don't have and are currently doing better than we are. Everything is here for a reason and has some kind of purpose no matter how minuscule it may be. Every pencil for writing, book for reading. What I think we need more of is creative student influence. Lets not conform them into thinking this is how the world works. Show them there are possibilities. For years and years schools have been teaching the same thing to every generation of students. Lets learn something new for a change. Young minds are easy to mold. Lets mold them into something useful thats not going to lead them down a life their parents had to live. Wake up, eat, work, sleep, repeat. There is no success in a routine like this. Its tiring and puts a huge mental and physical strain on everyone. Its how the system is designed. It all goes further and further down this never ending vortex it seems. Powerful people are always talking about change but they're the ones who are keeping us at square one and they know it and don't seem to care. So long as they get theres. People need to wake up to the obvious. We can't grow if the majority of us have yet to find truth.
